Redesigning the account page

INTRODUCTION

PAX, an electronic vaporizer company known for creating the JUUL, was going through a rebrand which involved revamping its entire website. My role was to redesign the account management flow of pages to reflect this new brand identity, while also optimizing the screens for mobile devices.

INTRODUCTION

Existing design

What could be improved

The existing website showed signs of it requiring a fresh and modern approach. It also lacked visual feedback for certain actions which impacted the user experience.


One instance was the absence of visual cues upon clicking the "Reset Password" button, leaving users unaware that a confirmation link had been sent to their email.

SOME OTHER SMALL THINGS

The lack of visual hierarchy in forms made things hard to read. There were also other inconsistencies throughout the website that required attention. Notably, input fields and buttons had many variations across different pages, resulting in a lack of visual cohesion and a potential source of confusion for users.

To align with PAX's direction toward a more modern aesthetic, I integrated these principles into my designs. In addition to revamping the visuals, navigation was improved to help users find what they need more quickly.
